Check Your Display Settings
|KCOR requires a minimum of 256 colors. If your video driver supports the use of higher color palette settings, you can configure your computer to use a High Color or True Color pallette.|
|To adjust the color pallette setting in Microsoft Windows:|
|1. Click Start, point to Settings,
and then click Control Panel.
Note: If you are using Microsoft Windows XP, click Start, and then click Control Panel.
|2. Double-click Display.|
|3. Click the Settings tab.|
|4. In the Color Palette or Colors box, click 256 Colors. (Note: if you see High Color or True Color click it instead.)|
|5. Click OK. If you are prompted to restart your computer, do so.|
|6. Close Control Panel.|
|Another display setting that can influence viewing KCOR is the screen resolution. KCOR works best with screen resolution set to 1024 x 768.|
|To adjust the screen resolution:|
|1) Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.|
|2) Double-click Display.|
|3) On the Settings tab, note the current screen resolution.|
|4) Move the Deskstop Area or Screen Area slider all the way to the right to increase the display resolution to 1024 by 768 pixels.|
|5) Click OK. If you are prompted to restart the computer, click Yes.|
|Note: If you are prompted
to view the new setting before you apply it, click Yes.
If you are prompted to keep the new setting, click Yes, then restart the computer.
